Homemade No Added Sugar Jam



Preparing jam at home without using added sugar is a simple and healthful method. The sweetness is from the natural sugars in the fresh berries, and the chia seeds serve as a natural thickener. This jam has no guilt and tastes delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh berries e

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Wash and chop the fresh berries if needed

In a mixing bowl, combine the berries, chia seeds, lemon juice, and vanilla extract

Mash the berries with a fork or potato masher to your desired consistency

Stir the mixture well and let it sit for 15 minutes to allow the chia seeds to thicken the jam

Transfer the jam to a clean, airtight container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let it set

Enjoy your homemade no added sugar jam on toast, yogurt, or as a topping for desserts!
